Bringing Soul To The Role and to Organizational Life:
A Retreat for Chaplains, Healthcare and other Human Services Professionals

Bringing Soul to the Role is a weekend retreat for chaplains, healthcare, and human-services professionals who want to stay deeply human while doing very demanding work.

If your work is asking more of you than you can give—or you’re carrying stress, role strain, moral distress, or team friction—you’re not alone. Many of us are trying to serve well inside systems that don’t always make it easy to stay connected to what truly matters.

In the lush desert of Carefree, Arizona, we’ll create a strong “container” for learning and renewal: with time to reflect, time in small and large groups, and a clear focus on task, role, authority and boundaries—so you can return to work with a stronger footing, better judgment, and a deeper connection to what matters most.

Together we’ll explore what helps soul show up—in presence, in relationships, and in the way we take up our work—so that it becomes more sustainable, more meaningful, and more aligned with who you are.

You’ll leave with more steadiness, clarity, and freedom of mind and return home more resourced, more connected, and better able to bring soul to the role you’re being asked to do.

The working retreat will be held at the Spirit In The Desert https://spiritinthedesert.org/  in Carefree Arizona 30-45 minutes from the Phoenix Airport. Shuttes may be available.   Prior to the event participants might want to arrange shared rides. A single passenger Uber ride is $50-$75.
